Red - Base weapon component. Green - enhancement/modifier component. Blue - Modifiers.
Weapons can be crafted from the Stations menu. Choose one or more Components from the top section to choose the type of weapon and Speed, Range, etc. upgrades and optionally add Modifiers from the bottom section. Customize the weapon name in the "Result Weapon" field and then click the Build button to complete the creation.
Take note that you can stack the same type of weapon to increase the base damage. For example, you can add 2 or 3 Vulcan Cores to raise the base damage of your vulcan. You can then add components which you can find at the bottom of the same list such as heatsinks to reduce the weapon heat or add more critical chance for your weapon. Anything you pick from this list will increase the weapon space required. The modifiers at the bottom list will not increase the weapon space requirement.
The total number of components and modifiers that you can have (combined) for one weapon is limited by your tech level. You will not be able to craft anything unless you add at least one base weapon component.

- Mining Laser Core
- Blue Laser Core
- Red Laser Core
- Purple Laser Core
- Green Laser Core
- Cannon Core
- Vulcan Core
- Ion Core
- Plasma Core
- Small Warhead
- Large Warhead
- Mine Core
The base enhancement components as of January 2020 are:
- Speed Booster - Increases projectile speed
- Range Booster - Increases range
- Critical Booster - Increases crit chance
- Heatsink - Reduces heat
The Venghi Dreadnought, V6B-A must be crafted.
